A Breakthrough in Baby Monitoring Technology
Angelcare Releases Wireless Movement Monitoring with Activity Tracking
MONTREAL, CAN – Angelcare, the worldwide leader in movement monitoring, continues to lead the baby monitoring segment in both technology and style with the launch of their new AC417 and AC517 (Baby Movement Monitors). These new movement, video and audio monitoring systems include the only wireless movement sensor pad on the market, and feature Angelcare’s new Activity Tracking that senses baby’s movement level.
Ultimate Peace of Mind
“Our new wireless sensor pad is all about simplicity combined with safety. Parents are going to love it,” says Angelcare President Jordan Riggs, “but the real game-changer is the activity tracking and reporting built into our new monitors.” Current fans of Angelcare products know that their monitors are designed to sense baby’s slightest movements and sound an alarm if no movement is detected after 20 seconds. Angelcare’s new models, equipped with “Activity Tracking”, offer this core alarm feature plus the ability to track, record, and report on baby’s bigger movements (like restlessness, rollovers, and kicks). With this insight into baby’s activity level during sleep, parents are better able to adapt routines and respond to baby’s needs. The ultimate result is more peace of mind (and rest) for everyone.
Angelcare’s new systems not only feature the latest advancements in monitoring technology, they also offer a sleek new design. The clean, modern design of the new Baby Movement Monitors will complement any decor. In the nursery, the wireless sensor pad is accompanied by a low profile, wall-mountable video camera with wide-angle lens and color-changing room temperature display. The new parent unit features a large touchscreen display (5” on the AC517 or 4.3” on the AC417) which enables caregivers to check on baby in real time, and track baby’s activity level with up to two months of data.
“Today’s parents use technology in all aspects of life,” Riggs says, “and at Angelcare, we provide moms and dads with easy-to-use monitors that help them care for baby, relax and enjoy the adventure of parenthood.”
Angelcare is committed to giving parents peace of mind while helping their children thrive. The new AC517 and AC417 Baby Movement Monitors are available at North American retailers beginning this month. The AC417 (Baby Movement Monitor with 4.3” Touchscreen Display and Wireless Sensor Pad) has a recommended retail of $229.99 and the AC517 (Baby Movement Monitor with 5” Touchscreen Display and Wireless Sensor Pad), a recommended retail of $249.99.
